Plant Sale to be Part of Wetlands Day
HARRISBURG (April 13, 2006)The nonprofit Friends of Wildwood will sell native plants as part of Wetlands Day at Wildwood Lake Sanctuary in Dauphin County. The proceeds will go directly toward park improvements.
The perennials for sale include:

- Silky Dogwood
- Winterberry Holly
- Spicebush
- Arrowwood
- Black Haw
- Butterfly and Swamp Milkweed
- Penn. Sedge or App. Sedge
- White Turtlehead
- Wild Bleeding Heart
- Purple Coneflower
- Little Joe-Pye
- Great Blue Lobelia
- Virginia Blue Bells
- Red Bee Balm
- Sundrops
- Mayapple
- Showy Coneflower
- Thin-leaved Coneflower
- Foamflower
- Large Flowered Trillium
The free day, lasting from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., also includes bird and wildflower walks, guest speakers, live animals, crafts and games for children, food and fun for the whole family.
